Notice of Landfill & Winter Hours   
Redfield City Landfill

NOTICE is hereby given that the Redfield City Landfill will be closed beginning Saturday December 16, 2023 thru Friday, January 5, 2024. Winter hours will begin Saturday January 6, 2024.

 

Redfield City Winter Landfill Hours

Effective January 6, 2024

Saturdays     9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Closed Over Noon Hour

The Pheasant Capital of the World®

Redfield is the first recorded place in South Dakota to successfully introduce the Chinese Ringneck Pheasant. This lead to the first open season on October 30, 1919.  From Spink County, pheasant hunting grew throughout the state.  Hunters still flock to Redfield to bag their limit.
