Redfield Businesses Offer Amazing Deals in Celebration of Chamber’s 95th Anniversary!

July 15, 2025

It’s a celebration 95 years in the making! This August 20 marks the milestone anniversary of when the Redfield Area Chamber of Commerce was established in 1930 by signing a document with the South Dakota Department of State.

“Here we are 95 years later, ‘carrying the torch,’ and continuing the original mission of the founding fathers!” said Chamber director Kim Leonhardt.

We’re so proud of the amazing partnership we have with our business community… but it gets even better!

The Magic Number

“In celebration, each and every Wednesday throughout the summer, businesses are joining in and creating special deals, all with a spin on the number 95!” said Leonhardt.

Here are some of the deals you don’t want to miss out on:

  • Dive in and take a splash at Redfield City Pool with 95 minutes of free swim time!
  • Looking for entertainment? Enjoy movies at Amaris Inn for 95¢
  • Coffee fans out there, enjoy flights for 95¢ at Simply Charming!
  • Stop by Back 2 the Rack for shopping deals at their $3.95 rack!
  • Small Town Boutique has a fantastic selection of Graphic Tees in inventory for $19.95!
  • Water bottles and summer go hand in hand! The Depot has collectible water bottles available for 95¢
  • Popular throwback price of 95¢ for 95 minutes of bowling at Starters Lane that was a ONE-TIME OFFER on Wednesday, July 10th, and proved to be extremely popular!

“Summer 2025 in Redfield will be the best one yet!” said Leonhardt.

Also, be sure to check out the Chamber’s Facebook page, which will include History Fun Facts posted each week on Wednesdays. The posts will be chock-full of milestones that we want to highlight and share to keep history alive in our community.

For example, did you know that pillars from the original Redfield school were preserved and now stand as a landmark memorial in the new school? We love all of the little tidbits that make our community one of the best places to live in South Dakota (or the world… but we might be biased!)

We’ll Have a Very Pheasant Day

But that’s not all! In addition to the generous special deals being offered by our businesses, all with a spin on the number 95, the Chamber has something special planned that pays homage to the unique legacy that sets Redfield apart!

“As Redfield, The Pheasant Capital of the World©, what better way to signify this momentous occasion than a pheasant release! Therefore, on August 20th, 2025, the Redfield Chamber of Commerce, Mayor, and City Council will all participate in a traditional pheasant release to culminate the summer-long celebration!” said Leonhardt. “Redfield Area Chamber of Commerce proudly recognizes the dedication of our businesses, the commitment of the citizens, and the community spirit that makes Redfield truly legendary.”
