NOTICE FOR CEMETERY DECORATIONS

NO replacement decorations until: May 1, 2024. The exception is those decorations that are in permanent, immovable, concrete pots. Flowers in these pots must be secured in a way that they cannot be dislodged in a strong wind. The American Flag may be displayed at all times. Flags shall be no larger than 12 x 18” and shall be displayed in grave markers supplied by the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars or other organizations. Please make sure the flags are in displayable condition and secure in their holder.

The Pheasant Capital of the World®

Redfield is the first recorded place in South Dakota to successfully introduce the Chinese Ringneck Pheasant. This lead to the first open season on October 30, 1919. From Spink County, pheasant hunting grew throughout the state. Hunters still flock to Redfield to bag their limit.
