Notice is hereby given by the Redfield City Council to all interested bidders that sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Finance Officer, 626 Main St, Redfield, SD, NOT later than 5:00 PM. on Friday February 14, 2020.  Bids will be opened, read, and considered by the Redfield City Council at the regular City Council meeting which convenes at 7:00 P.M. on February 18, 2020, at City Hall for a 2015 Loader/Backhoe with approximately 2100 hours.  Possession of wheel loader can be obtained as soon as the City of Redfield takes delivery of their new unit and upon full payment by the buyer. 

Envelopes containing bids shall be addressed to Redfield City Finance Office, 626 Main St., Redfield, SD 57469, and marked “Bids on loader/backhoe”.  Questions may be directed to the Finance Officer at 605-472-4550. 

The Redfield City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids should it be deemed to be in the best interest of the City.

The Pheasant Capital of the World®

Redfield is the first recorded place in South Dakota to successfully introduce the Chinese Ringneck Pheasant. This lead to the first open season on October 30, 1919.  From Spink County, pheasant hunting grew throughout the state.  Hunters still flock to Redfield to bag their limit.
